Whole estate, one day.

The estate is available for exclusive use on your wedding date, excluding the Tea Rooms. Includes exclusive use of the estate for the full wedding day, and the Old Stables reception space and adjoining ceremony lawn.

How the day unfolds

A typical timeline runs a ceremony on the lawn, drinks and canapés across the grounds, then a seated dinner in the Old Stables. The reception is held under cover in the Old Stables regardless of weather.

The venue

The Old Stables

A restored timber stable block, with original posts and trusses overhead and doors at both ends that open onto the paddock. Heated, powered, and served by a kitchen behind the old tack room. It is where every gathering on the estate ends up.

Catering and vendors

Catering is always in-house, using the farm-to-table approach and adapted into a bespoke wedding menu for your special day. For florists, photographers, celebrants and music, we work from a preferred vendor list but can also accommodate outside vendors by arrangement.

Logistics

Getting here

Location
Megalong Valley, Blue Mountains, NSW. Around two hours by car from Sydney, and 15 minutes from Blackheath.
Parking
At the Old Stables, self-drive parking can be organised on site for larger events, with designated walking pathways to the venue. Guests can also arrive and leave by chartered bus, and there is plenty of room for buses to park. At the Restaurant, self-drive guests can use the designated parking area, but space is limited, so we recommend a chartered bus.
Accessibility
Guests with limited mobility can park close to either venue, the Restaurant or the Old Stables. Both are on ground level, with no stairs. One of our cottages (Cottage 6) has ramp access. Let us know when you book.
Capacity
Up to 80 seated for dining, 100 for a standing reception or 100 seated theatre-style in the Old Stables. The lawn takes weddings of up to 150.
Wifi and AV
There is no permanent wifi at the Old Stables, but a mobile Starlink connection can be set up for your event, and we can cater to AV needs.

What's included
Tables, chairs, setup and breakdown are included. AV and meeting equipment, a dance floor and additional toilets can be brought in or rented. Catering and on-site event staffing are extra.
